- OSC1: sine/saw/pulse
- OSC2: saw/pulse/noise
- SubOsc: square (-1 oct en dessous des réglages de OSC1)
- filtre auto-oscillant LP 4pole
- Modulator (LFO): sine/square/S&H avec rate et delay
- AutoBend (-2/+2 octaves
- PWM: LFO/Man/Env
- Pitch Mod: controle la profondeur de modulation de hauteur par le LFO
- Tuning: OSC2 dispose de sa propre section tuning, Wide and Narrow (+/-1750 cents or +/-200 cents)
- alors que le SH2 était monophonique, Krolar SX-2 propose une option polyphonie à 6 voix
