I agree I agree I agree ! Nomad Factory already had an excellent product with the Blue Tubes, and now this baby simply surpasses both hardware and software simulators, as mentioned above. You have to try the demo !

Wow, this is the amp simulator I've been waiting for. I just downloaded it about 2 hours ago and have spent some time tweaking. The stock sounds are good, but I'm a little surprised they're not better, because I immediately found it easy to craft an array of tones that baffled me. I'll have to abuse it a little more to test stability, but so far I've had no problems running the OS X VST version in DP4.12 (via Audioease's VST-wrapper).
Now, for a little comparison, I have Amplitube and I used to have a POD XT. I've also used several other amp simulator/modeller types. I don't like them. I only had the POD XT for 2 weeks because I thought it sounded weak, and unlike everyone else, I don't think Amplitube sounds very good. I've been waiting for the plug-in to come that could actually be passed off as the real thing, and don't quite mark my words, because I haven't spent enough time with it, but my initial impression is that this *might* be the one we've been waiting for.
