CROSS est un logiciel destiné aux DJs qui utilisent les vinyles, CD ou interfaces MIDI. Ce logiciel à la pointe de la technologie est basé sur un nouveau design et une compatibilité pour les plateformes Windows et MAC.

L'expérience de MixVibes dans les technologies audio et le contrôle vinyle ont permis de créer un produit DJ orienté spécialement pour les professionnels, et qui apporte toujours plus d'efficacité et de simplicité !

Avec CROSS, il est très facile de trouver et préparer vos médias audio, vous pouvez ainsi rester concentrés sur votre public:

Mixez des morceaux de manière ultra-fluide, faites des mash-ups en quelques minutes et enregistrez des mixtapes harmonieuses. La 2.5 propose en effet un moteur de détection et de contrôle de tonalité intégré, un nouvel écran de collection et beaucoup d’autres choses.

Une détection de tonalité précise pour des mixes harmonieux
La détection de tonalité ultra précise est directement intégrée dans Cross DJ: plus besoin de logiciel tiers. La tonalité peut être affichée en notation classique ou harmonique, rendant ainsi le repèrage des morceaux compatibles beaucoup plus facile.
Contrôle de la tonalité et affichage dynamique
La tonalité d’un morceau est aussi importante que son nombre de BPM. Cross DJ l’affiche directement juste au-dessus du deck. On peut l’adapter automatiquement à celle du master ou la modifier manuellement par demi-ton. L’affichage est dynamique et donc affiche en temps réel les modifications, il devient blanc quand la tonalité est harmonique avec le master.
Naviguer dans la bibliothèque en fonction des tonalités des morceaux est maintenant super facile: les morceaux dont la tonalité est compatible sont maintenant surlignés en orange vif. Vous pouvez aussi baser votre recherche sur d’autres critères, mais la tonalité sera toujours en surbrillance.
Navigation facile avec la nouvelle vue Collection plein écran
La sélection des morceaux est le coeur du DJing. La vue Collection est plus intuitive que jamais avec les nouvelles mini-platines. Cela donne plus de place pour naviguer dans la bibliothèque, tout en gardant un oeil sur ce qui joue. En plus, on peut maintenant drag and dropper des morceaux entre players et samplers, ce qui peut être très utile quand vous n’avez qu’une platine vinyl ou qu’une CDJ.

Marqueurs dans la vue globale : meilleure compréhension de la structure d’un morceau
Les DJs sont habitués en production musicale aux grilles qui mettent en relief la structure d’un morceau. Cross DJ est la première application DJ qui affichent des marqueurs qui permettent de visualiser cette structure dans la vue globale, rendant ainsi plus facile le mix aux bons moments des morceaux.

Cross 2.3 works with the complete Pioneer range (CDJ2000nexus, CDJ2000, CDJ900, 850, 400 and 350) with a super easy setup. All you need is your laptop and 2 USB cables - no additional soundcard required.

8 pad Sampler: Sampling is and has always been a fundamental component of modern music composing and performance. Cross 2.0 offers 8 sampler pads which opens a new door for all types of DJs. The BPM of samples can be linked with the speed of a player. You can now browse and manage samples exactly like tracks, meaning you can rapidly organize and load sample banks to the pads.

FX: 14 ultra-precise audio effects are now controlled with two parameters. FX can either be applied to the player, the sampler pads or the master output. The low pass and high pass "bi-filter" directly accessed with a separate control in the mixer.

8 Locators: Locators now serve as hot cues or can also trigger a preset loop. This professional option mimics the standard Pioneer CDJ behavior.

Crossfader Assigning: Players and samplers are assigned by default to crossfader but can also bypass it to directly feed the master output.

Ergonomics: The layout engine has been reviewed and improved. A modular software appearance has been developed with extra care to rapidly hide or display the relevant tools needed for a particular mix.

Quantize: A professional live performance feature which corrects human rhythmic errors. Meaning that if you play a sample slightly early or late relative to the beat it will be synced automatically to it. The quantizing granularity values range from 1/16 beat to 16 beats and can be applied to either a player or a sampler. When activated, rhythmic errors disappear and the audio mix flows seamlessly.

The new update provides major enhancements and fine tuning of the MIDI section. The software is now compatible with the advanced 14-bit MIDI protocol used by the top of the notch DJ controllers of the market. CROSS now includes 35 MIDI mappings including Denon DN-3700, Novation Dicer, Vestax PMC-05ProIV, Vestax VCI-300/VCI-300MKII, Allen&Heath Xone DX ...

A new MIDI Hot plug function allows the DJ to connect on the fly any MIDI controllers.

CROSS 1.5 is also equipped with an output Limiter to ensure a perfect sound quality and avoid all digital saturation. The limiter interacts with the master output and compresses the frequencies that cause saturation ensuring maximum volume with outstanding sound quality and no hiss or rumbling in the speakers!

Last but not least, you'll be able to trigger twice as many Locators from now on. CROSS 1.5 features 6 savable Locators for more control over your live mash-ups and on the fly remix performances.

In a few words, CROSS 1.5 answers the requests of users in the MixVibes' community with a new set of effects, more locators and MIDI mappings for high end DJ controllers; while constantly remaining focused on the core quality of the software, thanks to enhanced BPM detection, an output limiter and 14-bit MIDI compatibility.

Mode Absolut, Mode Relative (similaire au mode All Relative de MixVibes 7) et le tout nouveau mode Flexible permettant de déconnecter temporairement le contrôle du média (Vinyle ou CD) pour nettoyer les cellules, changer de CD etc… sans stopper votre mix.
Les modes de warping sont également disponibles grâce au contrôle externe (Resampling, Master Tempo, Hybrid). Profitez du Master Tempo sans perte de qualité de son pour scratcher et mixer.

Compatibilité totale avec la U46MK2

L'U46MK2 est à présent supportée en natif : le monitoring et les options de volumes sont configurées automatiquement par CROSS.
