Synthèse granulaire
Amber-X est une application de synthèse granulaire, basée sur Amber de Matt McCabe and Jennifer Bernard. Amber-X accepte les fichiers WAV et AIFF, et l'utilisateur peut définir la taille et la densité des grains, l'enveloppe granulaire, et plusieurs types d'algorithmes de génération de grain.

Not too bad if you want to make your own "graintable" samples, especially since it can build samples by morphing between several audio files. Very slow rendering though... recommend the "KTGranulator" AU, which creates grains in real time through a delay line, if you're not making a sample library.
