Mesa Sequencer

Mesa Sequencer is a series of beat-synchronized musical loops, combined with a 360-degree panoramic photograph of the American Southwest. By sliding your finger right or left, you crossfade through a landscape of rugged techno ryhthms and otherworldly vistas.

Overlaid on the loops is a step sequencer you control, allowing you to leave your own footprints as you traverse the deserts of the New World.

The loops contained in Mesa Sequencer are excerpts from Mesa Sequences, a 25 minute work of improvised techno by Jay Ahern and Morgan Packard, released on Modular Cowboy records.
