Vocoder
Hervé Noury publishes a vocoder optimized to create realistic voice effects. The concept was not only to analyse the formants of your voice, but also the expression of it. Vibrato or tone effects will be sensible to the pitch of your voice, and if you speak with excitation, more expression will be added to the synthesized sound than if you speak without expression in your voice.
