Audio controlled synthesizer
Unlike conventional MIDI synthesizers, kantos is controlled by audio : Kantos analyzes any pitched monophonic incoming audio and instantaneously extracts pitch, dynamics, harmonic content and formant characteristics. This information is then used to control the kantos sound engine.
