Generative MIDI sequencer

Elysium is a generative MIDI sequencer. Okay so what does that mean?

Let's take that in reverse:

1. Elysium is a sequencer, that means it's designed to produce sequences of notes that can be layered to form music.

2. Elysium uses MIDI which means that it doesn't make sounds itself but can drive MIDI based synthesizers, samplers, and other instruments. It also means that Elysium's output can be recorded, and manipulated, in a DAW such as Logic or Ableton Live.

3.Elysium is generative which relates to the way the music is created by building up a "system" composed of layers, cells, tokens, and playheads that combined, when "played", to produce a sequence of notes.

While there is still a lot that could and should be done with Elysium the last few months have squashed a lot of bugs and smoothed a lot of rough edges. You have to call a version 1.0 at some point and… this is it.
LucidMac Software Elysium Elysium v 0.9.7 Jun 29, 2009 MacOS X UB
Major new feature in 0.9.7 is two new trigger modes for generators.

Impact trigger mode will generate new playheads when an existing playhead strikes the generator.

MIDI trigger mode will generate new playheads when Elysium receives an incoming MIDI note for the cell the generator is on.

LucidMac Software Elysium v Apr 3, 2009 MacOS X UB
This is a minor release to fix a problem with saving compositions when no composer information has been entered into the preferences.

Also included in this release are some tweaks to the UI and support for Undo/Redo when adding & removing tokens (but not in relation to parameters or other elements).
